DEAD RINGERS

Amazon, Annapurna

Dead Ringers is a modern take on Cronenberg’s thriller starring Jeremy Irons, featuring Weisz playing the double lead role of Elliot and Beverly Mantle, twins who share everything: drugs, lovers, and an unapologetic desire to do whatever it takes, including pushing the boundaries on medical ethics in an effort to challenge antiquated practices and bring women’s healthcare to the forefront.”

Westcott Memorial Hospital:

I worked in tandem with Assistant Art Director Hilary Noxon to develop the ideas for this set built at Silvercup East in Queens. At the outset, she worked on the plan while I kept up with her in 3D, so at any time we could share both schematics and 3D views to assist in presentation and visualization. Once the basic layout was set, I joined Hilary in creating the construction drawings as a duo.

Mantle Twins’ Apartment:

Benjamin Cox, Hilary Noxon, and I worked together to create the drawings for the Mantle Apartment. A highlight of my work was the elevator door and the kitchen:

Our elevator lobby on location had a beautiful set of doors that we chose to match on set. When creating a mold from the original door failed, I was asked to 3D model elements of the door and work with the construction and scenic team to create a perfect match.

I modeled these missing pieces (above) and had them 3D printed to use for the casting process.
